David Bone C.Dir

 David is a full-time member of the Learning Impact team and our Managing Director.

He is a seasoned MD with experience in managing both technical product sales and sales in the creative industries sector. He led his last company to £5.8 million pound turnover and a Queen’s Award for Export.  His last business also won the accolade of Parcelforce Small Exporter of the year and David was personally recognized by his peers with the Sage Daily Telegraph award for best business Leader in 2005.  As a client of UKTI David’s last business enjoyed much practical support and he became an enthusiastic supporter. He is a committed exporter, with the communication skills to pass on his enthusiasm and motivate others.

David understands the challenges of managing a progressive SME in the international arena, and considers strategic planning, informed decision-making and the effective management of sales channels as key elements in maintaining control when exploiting export potential.

As a facilitator David brings a natural flair for relating to people and an ingrained ability to understand and relate to those leading and managing in a wide variety of SME environments.  His lively interactive style and in-depth experience is reflected in the very strong appraisal feedback he receives.  He has worked as a facilitator for Learning Impact since 2010.

David is a Chartered Director under the Institute of Directors.
